SPORTS

Te Kura o Manunui offers a range of sports and activities for tauira to be involved in throughout the year. The school policy stresses playing for enjoyment, team spirit and to increase competence. Learning to be a gracious winner or loser is an equal part of the sports programme. We encourage parents/caregivers to get involved where they can by signing up to coach or umpire games.

NB: Submissions of the register forms do not automatically place your child in a team. Our Sport Coordinator Matua Jake will be in touch to confirm their application and if there is any further information required. Any questions please contact Matua Jake, jake@tkom.school.nz.

Term 2, 2025 (Years 1-6)

Starts May

  • Year 1 & 2: $60

    Year 3 & 4: $70

    Year 5 & 6: $80

  • Tauranga Netball Centre, Mount Maunganui

  • Year 1 - 5 (Year 1 - 4) Future Ferns Saturdays - starting on 17 May 

    Start date: Year 6 (Year 5 & 6 teams) will do grading on Saturday, grading 10 May

Basketball

Term 2 & 3, 2025 (Years 1-6)

Starts May & August

  • Year 1 & 2: $60,

    Year 3 & 4: $80

    Year 5 & 6: $90 (cost covers both terms)

  • Mercury Baypark or the Haumaru Centre (The old Warehouse Building Cameron Rd)

  • Little League Term 2: Mondays: 12 May - 23 June (6 weeks) 

    Little League Term 3: Mondays: 14 July - 18 August (6 weeks) 

    Year 3 & 4: Tuesdays: 6 May - 19 August (13 Weeks) 

    Year 5 & 6: Fridays:  9 May - 15th August (11 Weeks)
