BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

We are the safe space between learning and home - that fun place to play, where our tamariki feel they belong. We provide fun, exciting  & safe experiences for your tamariki to explore, connect, grow and create memories. 

We offer: Before school care, after school care and school holiday programmes that run from 7am to 5.45 pm Monday – Friday from the old Brookfield school site at 20 Millers Road.

We offer regular & casual sessions in both the before & after school programmes.

Breakfast is provided for the full morning session and afternoon tea at the after-school sessions.

Tamariki are walked down the hill to school (Kura) after the morning sessions, & collected from school (Kura) and walked up the hill, in the afternoons via the “walking bus” provided and Supervised by our staff.

We provide raincoats, & have coach vans available for transport on wet days.

We are MSD licensed and parents are able to access Oscar Childcare Subsidies with us.

Before School Care

7.00am-8.35am
Previous Brookfield School Hall

Available Monday to Friday during Term

7.00am onwards - Children arrive (signed in by parents or caregivers)

7.10am - 8.00am - A healthy breakfast of toast, crumpets or cereal is available every day, plus water or milk. On certain days we also offer scrambled eggs, and pancakes. Our kitchen closes at 8.00 am, so please ensure your child or children, arrive before this time.

8.00am - 8.30am - Games and activities are organised.

8.30am - Tidy up and children are taken to school via walking bus.

After School Care

2.45pm-5.45pm

Available Monday to Friday during Term

Kids Inc are very well-resourced and have dedicated enthusiastic trained staff. They offer daily: free play, group games, arts & crafts, movies (dvds), sports, help with homework etc. Swimming is an activity during the summer months.

2.45pm – 3.00pm – Kids arrive via walking bus to previous Brookfield School Hall

3.00pm to 3.15pm – Afternoon tea is provided – this consists of Fruit, vegetable sticks, crackers, biscuits and sandwiches.

3.15pm to 5.00pm – Structured Free Time – this is when the kids can choose from the various spaces and activities on offer, what they feel like participating in. There is something for everyone with space for individual or group activities, indoor or outdoor play including creative, sporty and hands-on tasks.

5.00pm to 5.45pm – Start tidying up, then play group games. with all children in care to be collected by 5.45pm.

School Holiday Programme

7.30am to 5.45pm

Available Monday to Friday during School Holidays (excluding Public Holidays).

Drop off is at previous Brookfield School Hall before 9.00 am.
