Notice: Te Kura o Manunui is no longer accepting out-of-zone enrolments
DATE: 12 JUNE 2026
Due to increasing enrolment numbers and limited capacity across our kura, Te Kura o Manunui is no longer accepting out-of-zone enrolments.
As a state and kura auraki school, we remain committed to supporting the growth and success of all kura across our rohe. We wholeheartedly support the development of Reo Rua and Rumaki Māori pathways within neighbouring schools and celebrate the opportunities this creates for tamariki and whānau to access te reo Māori education closer to home.
It is therefore with care, aroha, and tautoko that we manaaki all tamariki while implementing the requirements of our enrolment zone.
To enrol at Te Kura o Manunui, tamariki must be living within the enrolment zone at the time of enrolment. We are unable to accept enrolments based on future intentions to move into the zone. "About to move" or planned future addresses will not meet enrolment requirements.
All enrolment applications must include proof of residence. Acceptable documentation includes:
Current power, gas, internet, or water bill
Signed tenancy agreement
Rates notice
Other official correspondence confirming the residential address
To ensure fairness for all whānau and compliance with our enrolment scheme, the kura may request additional verification of residency. This may include a home visit where required.
Providing false or misleading information regarding a residential address may result in an enrolment application being declined or, where appropriate, an enrolment being reviewed.
We appreciate the understanding and support of our whānau as we manage roll growth while continuing to provide high-quality learning opportunities for the tamariki currently within our enrolment zone.
If you have any questions regarding enrolment eligibility or our enrolment boundaries, please contact the kura office.
