Notice: Out-of-zone applications for 2026

Enrolments for out-of-zone students will be open from 1 Mahuru (September) 2025 and will close on 31 Whiringa-ā-nuku (October) 2025.

Our kura offers two pathways:

  • Te Whānau o Waipapa (Rumaki) – full immersion in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, taught through Te Marautanga o Aotearoa.

  • Ngā Whānau Reo Rua (Waiawa, Pōkapū, Kaitere) – bilingual classes supporting learning in both te reo Māori and English, taught through the New Zealand Curriculum.

Whānau will be notified of the outcome via email on 3 Whiringa-ā-rangi (November) 2025.

We are honoured by the aroha and interest whānau show in Māori-medium education, and we value your commitment to supporting your tamaiti/tamariki on their reo Māori and English learning journey.

For application forms or further details, please visit our kura office or contact us via email or phone.

Please note: Spaces are limited in both Rumaki and Reo Rua pathways. If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the available places, a ballot will be held in accordance with Ministry of Education enrolment requirements.
